Overview
The Missing Content Reference Report checks your site for any DXE content that has been deleted or is not visible to site visitors (e.g., posts in Archived state, drafts of new posts that have not been published, etc.). If any visitor-facing references to this content are found, an alert displays for DXE Managers with a link to the report.
The report shows a list of all content where links to missing content were found. You can use the report to quickly and easily address each reference, ensuring they don't appear to visitors as broken links or inadequate permissions. The report automatically runs every 24 hours, but can be manually run anytime.
Accessing the report
There are two ways to access the report:
- If the report has items to address, an alert appears at the top of the page. Click View report in the alert to go to the report.

- To access it without going through the alert: In the DXE Toolbar, click Configuration → Mercury Features → Missing Content Reference Report.
