Breadcrumbs — now clean, consistent, and predictable
We’ve simplified how the current page shows up in breadcrumbs so it matches the rest — clearer, more reliable, and easier for search engines to optimize.
What it is
A small consistency change to breadcrumbs: when the final breadcrumb has no URL (current page), its itemListElement now uses an item object with only item.name (not a plain string).
Why it matters
- Makes breadcrumb information more predictable and easier for search engines to optimize.
- Low impact for you — no new data and no changes required.
Profile pictures — now turbocharged!
Provider profile images are now served as compact files for instant, silky-fast loading and a snappier experience for every visitor.
What it is
A performance improvement that speeds up provider profile image loading by using a new image style for uploaded profile pictures. The new method generates a 200px version of larger photos for quicker loading.
How it works
- When a provider image is uploaded, the system generates a 200px-wide version of the image.
-
The provider profile page now loads that optimized image instead of the original file, which may have been larger, preventing the browser from downloading an image of unnecessary size.
Why it matters
- Faster page load times for provider profiles improve user experience and SEO performance.
- Smaller image sizes are especially beneficial for mobile and low-bandwidth users.
- No action required for most sites; the optimization is applied automatically.
Provider Search (Beta): Dynamic page title tag
The Provider Search page titles adds dynamic page numbering so the browser title clarifies which results page a user is viewing.
What it is
Page titles now include dynamic page numbers (e.g., "Page 2"), so users instantly know which results page they're on — making navigation, bookmarking, and sharing faster, clearer, and more user-friendly in Provider Search (Beta).
How it works
On Provider Search (Beta) result pages, the title format changes depending on the page:
- First page: [Page title | Site name]
-
All other pages: [Page title - Page X | Site name] (where X is the current results page number)
The title updates automatically as users navigate through search result pages.
Why it matters
- Improves orientation: users immediately know which page of results they’re on.
- Better navigation and bookmarking: titles make it easier to return to or share a specific results page.
- Helps SEO and usability: clearer, page-specific titles can improve search result snippets and overall user experience.
- Provider Feed widgets placed inside tab panels weren’t receiving the correct CSS, causing inconsistent UI and visuals that didn’t match the expected widget appearance. Widgets within tab panels now have the intended styles applied, restoring consistent, expected visuals across the tabs.
- Some users were seeing a warning notification after saving a content feed block. Now, content blocks should save as expected without this warning.
