Theme Updates

Button Styles

We've added more customizability to buttons in DXE! Now you can choose between rounded, pill, and square buttons for your site. These options are found by clicking Theme > Links & Buttons and scrolling to the bottom:

Marquee Text Color for Standard Layout Pages

The color for marquee text in Standard Layout pages can now be set in the Theme settings. Click Theme > Standard Layout and find the new option here:

Update to Providers Taxonomy

We have improved indexing of taxonomy for Providers. This will significantly improve the search experience for Providers, as filtering by taxonomy will now provide more accurate results.

Performance and Security Improvements

As part of ongoing improvements to our security and performance posture, we’ve now implemented a web application firewall (WAF) on all DX Engine sites. This includes automatic rate limiting for suspicious traffic patterns and known malicious IP addresses.

We have also implemented automatic image optimization at the edge. JPEGs, PNGs, and GIFs are automatically converted to a modern WEBP image format for faster loading. This requires no image editing on your part and results in improved performance!
